The local owner-operators of Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery, with three locations in San Diego and Temecula, have partnered with the concept’s original founder to open a new restaurant at The Linq, a $550 million open-air retail and entertainment center set to debut in 2013 on the Las Vegas Strip.

The center is being developed by Caesars Entertainment and Caruso Affiliated, with a planned October opening.

A statement said the San Diego-based Tilted Kilt team — Anthony Laureti, Bill Reynolds and Jason Wood — is partnering with company founder Mark DiMartino on the Las Vegas eatery. The local group has also franchised a location set to open in December next to the Honda Center in Anaheim.

The local group currently operates Tilted Kilt locations in downtown San Diego, Westfield Mission Valley mall, and Promenade at Temecula.

DiMartino founded the Scottish and Irish-themed restaurant and sports-bar chain in Las Vegas in 2003. The three local locations are part of a larger franchise system with headquarters in Tempe, Ariz.

Tilted Kilt will have 95 locations operating by year’s end in 21 states and Canada, with more in the pipeline, the statement said.
