Foundation Buys New Headquarters Site for $11.8M

CHG Foundation, which operates a nonprofit health plan, has acquired a Chula Vista building for $11.85 million, to serve as its new headquarters site.

The two-story, 87,000-square foot building is at 900 Hitachi Way, according to CoStar Group. The seller was Chula Investment Group LLC.

CHG Foundation is moving from its current Chula Vista headquarters, and will take occupancy of 67,000 square feet of space at its new location. The remaining 20,000 square feet is being leased to Hitachi America Ltd.

The headquarters facility was built in 2002 at Eastlake Business Center. Brokerage firm Voit Real Estate Services represented the buyer, and Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller.
