SWS Engineering Acquires Paul Design Group
Thursday, May 17, 2012SWS Engineering Inc. of San Marcos has acquired The Paul Design Group Inc. in Del Mar. Financial terms were not disclosed in a May 14 statement from SWS Engineering.
Paul Design Group is led by Doug Paul, who has more than 35 years of experience in civil engineering and started the firm in 2009. He was previously founder and chairman of locally based Project Design Consultants.
Paul will join SWS as a member of the management team, overseeing existing PDG clients and assisting in the development of new clientele for SWS, which is led by President and CEO Michael D. Schweitzer.
SWS, which also has a Temecula office, provides services including civil engineering, surveying and land planning, the statement said.
