Five Guys Burger Chain Opens 10th Local Outlet
Thursday, February 2, 2012Five Guys, the national burger chain that began opening restaurants in California two years ago, opened its first restaurant in Escondido on Jan. 30.
It is the 10th restaurant in the county for the fast-growing Virginia-based chain that was founded in 1986. It has about 800 stores in 40 states.
The new burger place is at 1348 W. Valley Parkway in a mall with Staples as an anchor. It will employ about 35 workers.
