Ethertronics, a San Diego maker of antennas and other components for electronics manufacturers, said its revenue grew by more than 50 percent this year.
The business, which didn’t provide any dollar figures, said the company’s equipment is now integrated in more than 1,000 product designs. It also achieved major milestones related to the diversification of its product line this year.
In addition to expanding its antenna systems division, Ethertronics formed a new radio frequency chip division and introduced a capacitor called Etherchip 1.0.
As a result of the changes, the company is well-positioned for more growth in 2013, said CEO Laurent Desclos.
The diversification of the business will allow it to serve as a one-stop shop for customers, Desclos said.
