Mushroom Networks Inc. has unveiled Streamer PRO, an electronic device for streaming video via multiple 3G and 4G broadband connections.

Mushroom Networks says its 4-pound, battery powered device can hook directly to a video camera and can beam high-quality audio and video away from remote locations. Features include a built-in adaptive video encoder.

The San Diego company introduced the product earlier this month at the National Association of Broadcasters show in Las Vegas.

In other news, the company said that it will sponsor Orange County singer-songwriter Riley Grace, who will use Mushroom Networks’ technology to stream performances and build her fan base.

Privately held Mushroom Networks received funding from ITU Ventures and angel investors. Cahit Akin is it CEO.
