Chase Bank said it plans to hire 400 tellers, personal bankers, branch managers and assistants, loan officers, business bankers, financial advisers and mortgage loan operations professionals at a hiring event scheduled for July 19 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hilton San Diego Del Mar conference center.
The New York-based bank said the newly hired folks will work at one of the 12 new branches Chase is opening in the county this year, or at one of its existing branches.
Chase said it has reached out to area military bases to encourage veterans to apply for the jobs, and has formed partnerships with other corporations as part of a commitment by the companies to hire 100,000 veterans over the next 10 years. In the past four months, Chase said it has hired nearly 1,100 military veterans.
Those interested in attending the event are asked to RSVP by July 15 to chase.recruiting@chase.com.
