Got a science- or tech-based company that needs cash?
Got a pitch suitable for a long elevator ride (that is, two minutes)?
If so, the people putting together the fifth annual San Diego Quick Pitch competition want to hear from you.
Competition organizers have put out their final call for entries.
If chosen, representatives from budding companies will make their pitches before a panel of venture capitalists, lawyers, entrepreneurs and members of the Tech Coast Angels group — as well as an audience of 450 people.
The event is set for 6 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Irwin M. Jacobs Qualcomm Hall at Qualcomm Inc., 5775 Morehouse Drive. It will run until 9 p.m.
The competition is open to science- or technology-driven companies, including those in the wireless, information technology, life science, energy and sports business sectors.
