Pair of Shopping Centers Sold

Two San Diego County shopping centers have been sold for more than $30 million combined, according to an announcement by the Irvine-based Reza Investment Group on Aug. 28.

The Shops at Spectrum, which sold for $8.4 million, is located at the San Diego Spectrum master-planned community in Kearny Mesa. More than 80 percent of the retail center, built in 2005, is made up of national and regional tenants.

Newmark Merril Cos. of Woodland Hills sold the property to Wagner Six LLC, a private investor from Irvine. The buyer was represented by CB Richard Ellis broker Phillip Voorhees.

Santee Town Center, which sold for $23.4 million, was sold by Kimco Santee 705 LLC to Pacific Castle LLP.

National and regional tenants there include Michaels, Ross Dress for Less, Hollywood Video and Office Depot.

The Reza Investment Group represented the sellers.
