PostalAnnex+ Acquires Sunshine

PostalAnnex+, the San Diego-based franchisor of shipping and packaging stores, announced Sept. 6 that it has acquired the franchise system of Florida-based Sunshine Pack & Ship USA Inc.

Both companies are private and neither disclosed terms of the sale.
Sunshine Pack & Ship has 22 locations in 11 states, primarily in the Southeast and Midwest.

PostalAnnex+ has locations in 21 states and, according to a company press release, has little overlap in Sunshine’s existing markets. With the addition, PostalAnnex+ runs 347 stores.

The company plans to retain the Sunshine Pack & Ship brand and possibly use it while expanding the franchise. The company is aiming to have 400 stores by this time next year, said company President Patrick Edd.
