Crossflo Systems said Dec. 9 that it acquired the assets of Belmont-based Iameter, including the Iameter software portfolio, for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition added three employees to Crossflo, bringing its work force to 19.
Iameter, which also goes under the name Verras Medical, provides health care software programs for hospitals and physician groups. Its products help users assess quality of care delivery against state and federal health care standards to help them realize quality improvements and reduced costs.
Crossflo is a unit of Carlsbad-based Patriot Scientific. Patriot shares trade over the counter as PTSC.OB. They closed Dec. 9 at 15 cents, up one-half cent from the previous day’s close.
